SUPER SKETCHERS 1 is our most popular weekly basic drawing class. We cover lots of drawing techniques and styles throughout the year. Prices listed at checkout are per household, so all your 8-15 year old kids can join Super Sketchers for one low price! We have templates for you to print that will help you to follow the lesson. Classes are grouped into four week themes (cartoon strips, manga, classical drawing, etc.). Three sessions are live, step by step. The fouth session is recorded and you get to build a project of your own (using the skills you've learned). Every year, the drawings are new, so you can come back to Super Sketchers and just keep improving!

For brand new to moderately skilled illustrators. If you've never been in Draw Club and you're eight or older, start right here!

Super Sketchers 1 is slower paced. You get better at drawing by drawing, so there's no need to push into our higher level classes immediately. If you're new to drawing, if you draw a little slower, or just enjoy a less stressful pace, this is the place for you. Get comfortable here, and when you're ready, you can move up to Super Sketchers 2.

Super Sketchers 2 is and advanced basic drawing class that demands focus and attention. We work on the same exact drawings as Super Sketchers 1, but push the results further. The cadence is the same, three weeks live, and one week is a recorded Studio Project where you get to explore your own imagination and apply your new skills.

SUPER SKETCHERS 2 takes your skills a step further with more detail, more background and a little more autonomy. We still cover the same drawing techniques and styles throughout the year, we just push you a bit faster and further with less drawn out for you on the template. We'll dive into more shading, texture, light angles, facial and body details, depth, camera angles and layout than Super Sketchers 1. It's still a basic drawing class, so if you have really solid drawing skills and can focus for 55 minutes, anyone ages 8-15 is welcome. See themes below.

Every year the drawings are new, so you can come back to Super Sketchers 2 again and again and just keep getting better. From Super Sketchers 2 you can move on to Survival Sketchers or Story Sketchers.

A Pencil and Eraser

Nothing special...just functional.

Two or Three Ink Pens

Fine, medium, large tip. Sharpies work just fine.

Colored Pencils, Crayons or Markers

2-3 of each color is helpful (ie. light, medium, dark green).

Occasionally a Ruler and a Mirror

In a pinch, any straight edge and a selfie will do the trick.
