A Pencil and Eraser
Nothing special...just functional.
Two or Three Ink Pens
Fine, medium, large tip. Sharpies work just fine.
Colored Pencils, Crayons or Markers
2-3 of each color is helpful (ie. light, medium, dark green).
Occasionally a Ruler and a Mirror
In a pinch, any straight edge and a selfie will do the trick.

SCHOLASTIC SKETCHERS is our Super Sketchers class fitted to your school time frame. Our lessons run for 40 minutes and have an add-on extension that further develops the lesson or applies what you're learning to a new drawing. That way, if your school has more time for art, or if you want a seperate exercise for your art-loving students when they have free time, you have options. Prices listed at checkout are for your whole school, so all your 8-15 year old kids can join Scholastic Sketchers for an unbelieveably low price (equivalent to four individuals signing up for Draw Club)! We have templates for you to print that will help your class to follow the lesson. Classes are grouped into four week themes (cartoon strips, manga, classical drawing, etc.). Three sessions are live, step by step. The fouth session is recorded and you get to build a project of your own (using the skills you've learned). Every year, the drawings are new, so you can come back to Scholastic Sketchers and just keep improving! All you need is a way to stream/show the lesson, a facilitator, and a way to print our template.

Everybody's schedules are different. If you can't make it to class on any given week at the livestream time, no worries. The lesson is recorded and you can access it on YouTube for two weeks after the livestream. And if our livestream times don't fit your schedule at all, you are free to just show the recorded lessons...some schools and groups have preferred that option, so they can fit art in around other constantly evolving educational activities.
If you would like direct feedback on your drawings from Mr Wade, there are multiple options for sharing your work with him. You can email pictures to Toons@GooGenius.com, you can post to our GooGenius Draw Club Facebook page, or you can join our Office Hours time (TBD) on Zoom to show your work and chat about art and cartoons.
